He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the Oxford Brookes University, and is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Chartered Certified Accountant with ACCA.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) majoring in Actuarial Science and Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
